The name “The Solid Ground” reflects the main idea behind the installation.
Although the exhibition took place on a sandy beach, where the ground is constantly changing, rattan has a strong and sturdy character. It can support weight and create a stable structure.

Architectural Details and Sensory Experience
Balagi’s core identity as a premier furniture brand is woven into the very fabric of the booth’s overall design, executed across three main architectural elements:
- Open Frame Structure: Built from stacks of rattan stools utilizing natural rattan polished. The see-through design allows the ocean breeze to flow freely, bringing the natural beach vibes right into the interior.
- Innovative Woven Central Pole: Serving as the main structural support, the central column is wrapped in novel weaving techniques, making a bold statement of Balagi’s master craftsmanship.
Dynamic Wave Ceiling: The upper ceiling incorporates loosely woven panels that mimic the gentle movement of ocean waves whenever the wind blows through the booth
